Overview
The Cell was established with a prime objective of creating career opportunities in reputed corporate towards meeting aspirations of all the stakeholders. The Cell is devoted to cater to the needs of the organizations in conducting campus interviews for placements. Interactions with organizations are regularly done for placement requirements. Placement cell also conducts career guidance workshops to the final year students to face their future with confidence. The cell is utilizing the facilities of the college like conference halls equipped with home theatres, LCD projector, PA system, laptops, desktops, laser printers, handy cam, digital camera, etc.

Objectives
1. To make TKR the favorite destination for all national and multinational companies.
2. To establish state of the art in house training facility for honing the skills of the students.
3. To build TKR brand value in the corporate world.
4. Plan more industry-institution interactions to benefit students and faculty.
5. To train the students on soft skills & technical skills.
6. Introducing video conferencing with industry experts & successful alumni to create awareness for Campus to Corporate Transformation.
7. Scheduling training programs from 1st year to prepare students to meet corporate needs & requirements.

K Sridhar Reddy is presently working as Training and Placement officer at Smt TKR Polytechnic, Pamarru. He is also working as HOD of ECE at Smt TKR Polytechnic. He worked as an Associate Lecturer at Smt TKR Polytechnic during 1998-2007. He worked as Senior Lecturer in ECE from 2008 to 2021. He obtained his B.E degree during 1989-93 from Rural Engineering college, Hulkoti, affiliated to Karnatak University, and completed M.Tech from JNTU, Hyderbad.
